Race 1 (1,000m)
(1) NORTH POINT won impressively after two build-up performances. He could be headed for better races.
(5) ORBIT is also promising. He won well before a no-show effort when tried in a feature. Gelding may have done the trick with him.
(7) IRELAND FOREVER is also highly regarded. He is better than his run in the Grade 3 Cape Of Good Hope Nursery and is worth considering.
(2) AMEN CORNER won her debut as she liked and is open to improvement.
Race 2 (1,400m)
(4) NEW WORLD was unlucky in his last start when hampered at a crucial stage.
(8) BETTER MAN finished slightly ahead when well fancied and did catch the eye too. He could get close.
(2) RANDOLPH HEARST made a fair debut for the powerful Justin Snaith yard. He should relish the extra and could be hard to peg back jumping from a plum gate.
(7) CAPTAINS ALLIANCE can improve over the extra. Has some earning potential.
Race 3 (1,100m)
(2) RUBY REX hit the front before tiring into third on debut and then did not disgrace herself when making some progress from a wide gate at Hollywoodbets Durbanville.
(7) WINTER GAMBLE has patchy form but has shown enough to win a race like this. Her stable is in good form again.
(6) DUCHESS OF PALOMA is holding form but battled to quicken last time. A set of blinkers could see a bolder performance. Watch out for newcomer (3) LOWVELD LILY who is well related. She will not need to be a star to win it.
Race 4 (1,400m)
(11) OCOTILLO and (12) MISS WILLIAM have the form to fight it out but both have drawn wide.
(5) TAKE IT AS RED is an interesting entry. She has fair form in her age group and could make a promising debut in open company.
(7) HUNGA TONGA was only just beaten in her last start. She should be right there.
Race 5 (1,700m)
(4) DRICUS improved greatly in his second start and could be an even better prospect after a rest.
On collateral form, (9) TUNGUSKA should rate a big threat. He was beaten less than a length last time and is going the right way now.
(12) SHOW OFF is another who is progressing but he will need the race run to suit from a wide draw.
(8) AFRIQUE could suddenly spark after needing his last run. He has shown potential.
Race 6 (1,700m)
(2) ENGLISH MISTRESS has been costly. She has run many decent races but will be having her 18th try at cracking her maiden victory. She could get it right.
(7) SPECIAL GLAMOUR showed some ability but fluffed her lines last time. She may have come on given time to mature.
(6) BENEATH THE CLOUDS did not disgrace herself when given more ground last time. She should be right there.
(3) SWEET CONIFER disappointed last time but has run some decent races. She has Richard Fourie up from a fair barrier.
Race 7 (2,200m)
(6) UMFULA is back for his next test after winning two in a row. He is a progressive three-year-old that may be headed for the upcoming staying feature races.
(7) TOTHEMOONANDBACK was beaten 3.15 lengths by the former last time but could make a race of it this time as he is 3kg better off.
(9) KWITE A KING may prove effective over the extra trip. He cannot be faulted on his consistency.
(2) HELIOTROPE rates the dark horse at the weights.
Race 8 (1,200m)
(6) ALL OUT FOR SIX beat some of the best in the 'Big Cap' last time. He is weighted to also bag the Grade 3 Champagne Stakes and could do so even if reverting to a straight sprint.
(1) GEM KING for the second time this season produced a brilliant performance to topple a promising youngster and he could be up for the challenge again.
(4) TENANGO had his colours lowered but is better off at the weights. Can be dangerous again.
(8) SEEKING THE STARS will make it tough.
Race 9 (1,200m)
(10) SHESGOTCLASS followed up on her maiden win with a promising second-placed finish on handicap debut and runs for a stable in hot form.
(4) FROM A DISTANCE showed versatility by running well over further but should be an even bigger threat now back over the sprint distance.
(9) RAHHABBA is a useful sort who needs to be respected as well. Include in calculations.
(5) DAME OF TRIX has run well in some competitive heats and rates the dark horse.
Race 10 (1,200m)
Master Of My Fate gelding (8) JET FORCE came from nowhere to win his debut in thrilling fashion. He has been given time to mature and is the one to watch. He is competitive.
(9) FIRINGONALLENGINES is knocking hard at the door and it will take a strong gallop to peg him back.
(1) STREET OUTLAW won a nice race last time and could confirm with a 4kg apprentice claim and draw No. 1.
(11) MAJOR MASTER may be sharpening up after gelding but is nevertheless not one to take lightly.
