I found screenshots of the final standings in the ten groups posted in various threads. I tried to post them all together here without success but I’m sure someone else will be able to do it. I’m hopeless at formatting.

In the meantime here is a list of the players who finished top of their groups. I’ve listed them from highest score down.

  1. JohnGalt 3 3peat : 6,524,736
  2. PlayingSince2014 : 6,453923
  3. Hayden : 6,302,478
  4. mommy520. : 5,761,994
  5. Théo FR. : 5,724,127
  6. Kiwi Lady Dee : 5,718,611
  7. Shila2025. : 5,683,745
  8. GiggzZz : 5,652,423
  9. ItsamiraCole. : 5,548,503
  10. VERISSA. : 5,217,552.

I recognise some names from finals past - Ken (aka John Galt), Cole, Verissa and I think mommy520 too, and from the Community (well done GiggzZz! )

We will have to wait and see how many of these winners will be in the live finals.

    Thanks for putting the summary together into a single post, it helps a lot. Yes, 4 of the finalists are repeaters from the previous year. Looking at the points, I ended up having some luck on the board, since it was one of the ones with the least points. In a way, when I managed to get a comfortable lead, I also slowed down a bit. I think if I had kept up the pace I could have had a maximum of 5.9. In fact, the averages increased a lot compared to the previous year, largely due to the super colour bomb.

    Again, GiggzZz, congratulations on the impressive win! Your comment about the super color bomb might really explain some of the scoring difference this year. I feel sorry for those who said they never got offered a super color bomb - that's truly unbalanced for them.

    I'm curious, GiggzZz, might you be able to estimate for us some of your stats? How many levels did you do in those 24 hours (if you even remember)? How many gold bars did you use? How much did your booster inventory change? It would really be interesting to know those sorts of things.

    I'm so happy you made it to the live final - hoping you will win and get the grand prize!!

    You did brilliantly, @GiggzZz. Why kill yourself when you had a comfortable lead! And the relative scores mean nothing - I just posted them in case people were interested.

    And also, just for interests sake - and in the event that anyone on the list has to be replaced - the highest scoring 2nd placed players were Nat, who finished 2nd behind PlayingSince2014, with a score of 5,914,178, followed by Ben, who finished 2nd to Hayden, on 5,630,370.

    So GiggzZz would have been no worse than second on all but one of the other boards, and even (barely) outscored Ben. A really impressive accomplishment. And like teenybee says, your letting off on the scoring was wise. We'll played!

    Thanks, Im really very happy with my performance.

    Its very unfair that some didnt have the super colour bomb.Its a huge disavantage.

    Sure, i can estimate my round 3 stats for you. I will give the estimative on boosters i used.

    1. Did not spend 1 cent on this account/Allstars;
    2. I passed exactly 1000 levels;
    3. Used less boosters than i though i would need, mostly because of the super colour bomb. I estimate I have consumed something like 10k gold bars and won 2k in round 3 episode races.
    4. I had to spend like 200 gold on a specific level and wasted like 4 mins on that level, because i didnt want to loose the super colour bomb. It was a big risk but it was needed. It was one of those levels to collect objects, but I accidentally destroyed the machine that made them and only 1 of the objects fell from the cascade in every 2 plays! As there were still about 30 objects missing, I had to spend a lot of bars.

    I would consider minimum for round 3 a stash of 10k gold, considering i had already the lolipops and hands from the ads. Of course 20k would be great, but most likely, you would need to spend real money, because of the automatic deletions taken this year, suspicions of the impossibility of having so much without spending money.

    This is a good read.

    I got 8th in the race vs Ken (John Galt).

    There was a point I realized I'm doing something wrong and I was wondering if you had pointers on just playing the game.

    I only used 5k gold or so in round 3 and I lost my super color bomb halfway through the day. So after your read I understand some mistakes

    But like ideas or strategies for next time would be great.

    I'm also not at the end of the game so I was playing all New Stages and man did I have like 5 stages in a row on every race where Purple wasn't a color

    I love this thread, thank you so much @teenybee . That is great research. It's been the best year for this community for All Stars yet.

    @GiggzZz That's brilliant information from you, thank you. I do worry that you will have to disappear soon after you sign the NDA, and that would be a huge loss to this community . But of course I hope so and good luck in the finals!

    You do inspire me to keep going experimenting with leaderboard competitions myself. I had planned to call it quits at this point since I cannot face the boredom of the new Candy Crush, but you never know, there is more to find out: It does bug me that I fell one million short of the leaders despite using my best methods and having essentially infinite boosters and infinite gold at my disposal. Is there something subtle you guys know that I don't? Or is it just my old fingers and the fact I chose to play while enjoying the sunshine in the garden and watching TV rather than go all out like a "bot". Maybe it's just that. I did play solid for those 24 hours and never stopped and was definitely playing the best level range, but I was just too damn slow. I played a lot more levels than you, so I guess drawing out levels is the better method, that strategy must take more concentration than I was willing to invest in this. I do suspect that drawing out a level with spending more and more gold - which you were forced to do at one point when you destroyed the magic mixer by mistake- might actually be of benefit. Those animations lasting up to 20 seconds in between rounds are a killer for players using my speed method. Drawing out a level probably does increase the purple score quite significantly, so that might be a valid strategy to deliberately use in future leaderboard competitions. Given I have 10,000 gold left unused I could try this out in the future.

    One thing does startle me about those four returning players from last year. I was told by the winner of my leaderboard in another thread that they have been keeping in touch since last year. It's quite a lucky coincidence or a clever feat to see that somehow they managed to avoid one another on these 10 leaderboards.
